This is Ma'de Suartana. Ma'de and her husband, Nyoman Parwati, make all of our natural fiber photo journals, writing journals and crosses. Nothing goes to waste in developing nations. Our books are made with natural fibers such as lilly pads, bead pods, banana leaves, corn stalks, coconut shell and tree roots. They live and work in a small village in Indonesia.
