Sisters Wayan Laba and Ma'de Simpen are the matriarchs of the Kiki family. They, along with their adult children and grandchildren, make all of our our exotic birds. The flamingos, herons and parrots are hand carved, painted and then finished in decoupage with antique batik fabric. This process gives each bird its own unique look and finish. No two look the same. The sisters and their families live and work in Indonesia.
