Ms. Gusti Ayu lives and works in a village in Indonesia. She, along with other family members and village neighbors, makes all our palm leaf accessories such as hats, bags, coasters, trash bins, etc. Local village men will climb trees and cut palm leaves which, when dry, become a durable fiber that can be used in the making of different accessories. The palm is shaped and then interwoven into many different shapes, sizes and colorations to give each piece its own uniqueness.
